APRIL 2013

Having taken some time off in the USA, Jensen has returned to embark on the fourth European tour with pop opera group 'The Divos' which sees their first performance in Greece on 1st May. The Divos will perform a 90 minute show featuring the very best of pop opera classics as well as some new material. The Look of Love receives its UK cinematic release on 26th April where Jensen plays the role of 'Jonathan' a 1970's chat show host in this hilarious comedy set in London's Soho district at its height during the evolution of the strip club and cabaret evolutioned by Paul Raymond and follows his life story during this period. The film stars Steve Coogan as Paul Raymond, along with Anna Friel and Immogen Poots.

MARCH 2013

Jensen has just completed a historic sell out series of performances in the London production of 'Medea' staged at London's Roman Amphitheatre. The venue was last used for a public spectacle 1500 years ago.

We asked Jensen to describe his involvement with the production...'' Such a fantastic opportunity to be part of something that will make history. This show marks a first in a space last used over a thousand and more years ago. I feel very proud to have worked on such a project and with such a lovely team. It certainly was quite unlike anything i've done before. Working in full mask was a new venture for me, and at times a little challenging. You have to work that little bit harder. Normally, as an actor your face displays the emotions that are conveyed to the audience. Working with a mask hides all of that so the gestures and body language has to be worked in a way so that an audience still understands what is going on. Would I do it again? absolutely! it was a trial and error that became a sell out triumph and would love to recreate this again, or something new. I absolutely love costume and period drama and this was one of the best. Taking theatre back to a simple level. In this case, less was certainly more, I loved everything about it. We didn't have a huge orchestra backing us, just Ana Raphaeline on the flute, who also created the score. Ana is a wonderfully talented musician and brought a great energy to the show.''

FEBRUARY 2013

We are delighted to announce that Jensen is to play the Ensemble Lead in the forthcoming London production of 'Medea' at the London Roman Amphitheatre from 13th to 16th March 2013. This production sees the first staged performance in over 1500 years at this amazing venue below the Art Gallery at the London Guildhall. JANUARY 2013

January sees Jensen return to the studio to record a solo album of his favourite songs. 8th March sees the UK cinematic release of ''The Look of Love'' A look at the life of London porn baron turned property millionaire Paul Raymond played by Steve Coogan and also stars Imogen Poots, Anna Friel and Stephen Fry, among others.

DECEMBER 2012

So! what a long Summer and Autumn it has been. Jensen has recently returned from a 6 month European tour with his pop opera group The Divos which saw its 532nd performance since 2010! Along with the group, a live concert recording was made and is now available on CD and can be purchased via The Official Divos website at www.thedivosofficial.com

Some long anticipated time off until the end of the year before a hugely busy year ahead in 2013. Jensen can still be seen on screen in the 23rd James Bond instalment 'Skyfall' as well as his performance as a Russian Soldier in 'Anna Karenina'

JULY 2012

OK, so it has been a while since there have been any updates! Jensen is currently touring Greece in ''D:VO GOLD''. Having already racked up 70 performances the show is a resounding success and continues until 25th October (subject to alteration) Jensen is also working on some new material to record when he returns to the UK later this year. Jensen has been exceptionally busy since the start of 2012. Having completed filming on 4 productions already, Skyfall, Rush, The King of Soho and short film Alteration'and a fifth due to start. As well as finding time to rehearse for the upcoming 2012 tour of Greece. It certainly is a busy spring!

We are delighted to announce that THE DIVOS will perform in Bochum, Germany on Saturday 24th March 2012. Details of the show will be revealed in the new year. NOVEMBER 2011

Jensen has now returned to the UK after an amazing 134 performance tour of Greece and Turkey. But it's no rest for the Opera boy! Jensen will play a soldier in the Joe Wright film 'Anna Karenina'which stars Keira Knightley and Jude Law and as a city banker in Nick Love Film, 'The Sweeney' which stars Ray Winstone. Both films are due for cinematic release in 2012.

We are pleased to announce that Jensen is now one third of sensational popera group THE DIVOS. The Divos are a trio of 3 very talented artists who perform opera, pop-ballad and classical music. They are scheduled for their first show in Bochum, Germany on 24th March 2012. We will bring you more details soon.

OCTOBER 2011
D:VO CARNIVALE sees it's last performance in Rhodes on 26th October, but before that the show will travel to Marmaris in Turkey.

Jensen returns to the UK at the end of October to concentrate on two new theatre projects which we will bring you news on in November.

Following on from last months' news, pre-production work is well underway for the UK stage premier of JUST SAY LOVE which will see it's London debut on 19th June 2012. The official UK website is set to be launched on 20th September. More info to follow!

Jensen is still performing in D:VO CARNIVALE. The Peloponnese tour will finish on 8th September and then Jensen will join the Rhodes Island cast for a limited 6 week season until 24th October.

MAY 2011

Jensen is coming to the end of the European tour playing the title role of Count Vladimir in the stage production ''I'm Not Dracula!'' The show finishes its successful run on 31st May 2011.

MARCH 2011

Motion picture 'The King's Speech' triumphed at the 83rd Academy Awards, winning 4 Oscars. Colin Firth took the Oscor for Best Male Actor. The film took the overall award for Best Motion Picture of The Year. This marks a great achhievement for Jensen who played a small role in the film as Bright Young.

Jensen continues to tour Italy in the production of ''I'm Not Dracula!'' in his role as Count Vladimir/Dracula. The tour continues until 31st May 2011.

June 2011 sees Jensen return to Greece for a second tour, this time of the mainland following the hugely successful 2010 Greek Island tour. ''D:VO-Carnivale'' will start a 4 month tour on 5th June and tour the Peleponnese region of Greece. The show will feature songs from IlDibo, The 3 Tenors and a selction of Rat Pack classics.

FEBRUARY 2011

The Oscar nominated and multi award winning movie 'The King's Speech' has received yet another award, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Performance By An Ensemble Cast in a Movie. This marks Jensen's first movie award!

Jensen has now started the European T.I.E and Theatre tour in the role of Count Vladimir in the stage production ''I'm Not Dracula!'' Jensen plays the legendary Translvanian vampire, Dracula aka Count Vladimir. The show sees a 15 year old boy, Thomas lost on his travels on one foggy night in Transylvania, separated from his mother, when he comes across Bran Castle, the home of Count Vladimir. Little does Thomas know what fate lies in await for him behind the castle doors. Will Count Vladimir succeed to turn the youngster into a vampire? The show tours Italy until 31st May 2011, and takes in Modena, Pavullo, Rimini, Rome, Venice, and Florence among it's destinations. See the ''I'm Not Dracula!'' page for more information.

JANUARY 2011

Happy New Year! Jensen has been busy over the festive period having performed a series of Christmas concerts in Cyprus. Now back in the UK, Jensen is busy rehearsing for his role as Count Vladimir in a new stage production called ''I'm Not Dracula!'' The show will tour Italy throughout the Spring and performances start from 31st January and run until 28th May.

The Award winning blockbuster movie ''The King's Speech'' is released in UK cinemas on 7th January 2011, and sees Jensen in the role of
Bright Young. Jensen appears in the Royal Ball scenes alongside Hollywood greats Colin Firth, Guy Pearce, Helena Bonham-Carter, Geoffrey Rush, Eve Best and Timothy Spall. The film has already won a series of British Independent Film awards, and is currently nominated for 7 Golden Globe awards for its stars, Colin Firth and Helena Bonham-Carter. The fillm follows the story of King George VI of Britain, his impromptu ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch become worthy of it.

Other news! Jensen will appear in a series of commercials for ITV1's Dancing On Ice 2011. The series of commercials has been recently filmed and features Jensen as himself as a figure skater! they are due to be screened UK nationwide from 9th January 2011. Look out also for Jensen in new BBC period drama 'The Hour'. Jensen plays news reporter Wesley in episode 1 of the 6 part series drama which stars Dominic West and Anna Chancelor.

NOVEMBER 2010

Jensen has now returned froma European tour of Greece after 143 performances of the hugely successful show ''Passera - Tre Cantanti'' and has now started to record a solo album of selected songs from the show. The album, 'Jensen Freeman - Una Voce'' will be released on 24th January 2011.

As if that wasn't enough! Jensen is shortly due to return to the set of 'Midsomer Murders' for ITV1 for the new series. The autumn/winter period is set to be very busy, and we will keep you up to date with everything that's going on. The single ''Waiting For The Answer'' is now available on iTunes stores worldwide. Jensen is very busy in rehearsals in Greece for the IlDivo Show. The tour kicks off on Saturday 22nd May in Rhodes and continues around the Greek islands until 30th October 2010. We will bring you more news shortly! watch this space!

APRIL 2010

Jensen is delighted that he has recently signed a contract with Med Ents Ltd as a member of ''Passera - Tre Cantanti'' an Ildivo style show in Greece. Jensen will join the trio on May 1st. The production will be based on the island of Rhodes and will tour throughout the summer season.

Last month we reported that Jensen was to play the lead role of Otto Von Stromme in the brand new musical ''Vulcans Kiss'' at the Theatre Royal in Winchester. we have been informed that the production has now been placed on hold and has now been scheduled to start in September 2011.

MARCH 2010

Jensen has completed two feature films in the past month. Appearing in 'Cleanskin' which stars Sean Bean, and as a Forensic Officer in 'Thorne: Sleepyhead starring David Morrissey and Aiden Gillen. Jensen has also been back in the studio and recorded a cover of the Frankie Vallie classic ''Let's Hang On'' as well as recording brand new track ''Waiting For The Answer'' which should see it's release in the coming months. We are delighted to announce that Jensen will play the lead role of Otto Von Stromme in brand new musical, ''Vulcans Kiss'' which is scheduled to start at the Theatre Royal, Winchester from 7th September. Jon has recently joined Shooting Business as a web and online presenter.

Yet another busy month! Jensen recently completed a television commercial for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The advert titled ''Kick it Out'' will be shown worldwide before matches and on televised games. In addition to this, Jensen has filmed scenes for a drama called ''Hiatus'' and sees him in the lead role as Sherlock Holmes. The drama sees Sherlock Holmes wake up in modern day London and has to cope with a complete new way of life.

There are a number of projects that Jensen is about to embark on, and we hope to bring you news on those very soon, but at the moment...shhh!
A new track has been written and Jensen will record the vocals later this month and will preview on the site as soon as it is ready. The track, title TBC, is very different from Jon's previous work and has a world feel to it with Arabic influences.

JANUARY 2010

...and a very Happy New Year to everyone. January sees Jensen on the set of ''The King's Speech'' which is currently in production in his role as Bright Young Thing. The feature film is set at the time of King George VI Coronation and based on true facts surrounding the impending King's speech impedement and how he overcame this with the help of a Harley Street professional. The film stars Helena Bonham-Carter, Colin Firth, Derek Jacobi and Guy Pearce among others.

Jon has appeared in and completed seven films since August. Recently, Jon played Martin Shaw in Go Fish!, Andrew Clifton in Draggin' Fist, Agent Foster in The Room, and has just completed filming the role of James in Secrets & Lies. Recently chosen by Flair Talent in London to be a model for the Netherlands Tourist Board for their 2010-2011online and commercial brochure, Jon has also been selected for further corporate modelling assignments. We are excited to announce that Jon has been cast as one of the leads in a short film titled ''Go Fish!'' Jon will play Martin Shaw, a London city wide-boy businessman! and goes into production later this month. The film short is based on an age old story about a successful businessman who travels out of his native London to impede on the tranquil surroundings of the Devon coast, and annoys the local Fishermen with his city ideas, only to find out that he is working far too hard for the life that he strives to live. On the music front, two new tracks have been completed and awaiting the final mix for completion and as soon as they are ready,we will post full details here! You can see Jon in the video for Universal Music re-release of the classic 1984 Frankie Goes To Hollywood track 'Relax' which is out now on ZTT Records.

OCTOBER 2009

Jon recently appeared as a singer and dancer in the Universal Music re-release of the classic 1984 Frankie Goes To Hollywood track 'Relax' Look out for the bright pink neon, manscara and guyliner!!! A trip down memorly lane and a day with Holly Johnson made for a great video. Due to be released later this year, 'Relax 2009' is a coalition with AATW and the video is already on Clubland TV and will be on MTV very soon. Jon has also been busy with the recording of new track 'Time and A Place' which will see it's release in the next few months. Filming wise, Jon has also managed to fit in his busy schedule a few scenes for the Vertigo Films 3D movie ''StreetDance''. The film stars Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity, as well as cameo appearances by George Sampson.

SEPTEMBER 2009

The brand new single ''Feels Good'' is released on Monday 14th September on iTunes stores worldwide, as well as Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, Napster and all other reputable digital retailers.
September sees the launch of the new look website for Jon, www.jonadamfreeman.com. Jon has been extremely busy over the past few months having appeared in two feature films, Bollywood movie ''Housefull'' and Cannes Film Festival 2010 entry movie ''Season Of The Witch'' (working title). Filming still continues on Season Of The Witch until the end of the month. Jon was also chosen for the title shoot for a new programme due to be screened on Sky Sports channels later this year, we'll bring you more details soon!

AUGUST 2009

This month is already a really busy month for Jon as he is currently filming scenes for Bollywood movie ''House Full'' and a stand-in for Bollywood star Arjun Rampal. Jon is also busy with the promo for the new single 'Feels Good' due for release on 14th September. Jon has returned to the UK this summer to concentrate on writing new tracks and finishing an album, whilst also undertaking some acting projects. UPDATE! Jon is due to start filming for feature film ''Season Of The Witch'' more details coming soon...

JULY 2009

Back in the UK, Jon is embarking on a new mission. Expect the new electro-rock infused single 'Feels Good' on 14th September under Disco Headz UK Label. The track will be available for digital download from iTunes stores worldwide, as well as other reputable online retailers.

So off on a summer tour Jon is gracing the shores of Europe throughout the month of June. Jon will be in London to finish a new single at the end of the month, as well as attending a theatrical reunion in the town of Leighton Buzzard! Jon is looking forward to spending the summer months with family and freinds before a busy late summer/autumn period kicks in.

OOh what a month!, no REALLY, what a month! it has been a rollercoaster whirlwind from start to finish, and it 'aint over yet. A very busy time, and due to a touch of flu, (ah bless him), he has had to reschedule the recording of the new single. So there is a slight delay, but we hope to bring you news very soon of something very exciting! In the meantime, Scooby Doo - The Mystery Musical has a new star...

Is it just me, or is this year going fast already? Well it has been a very busy few weeks recently. The electro track 'Disco In Your Head'' is released on iTunes stored worldwide on 23rd March. Jon is currently recording a cover of the Stock/Aitken/waterman track ''Too Many Broken Hearts'' which is scheduled for release later this year. The album is still in post-production and we should be able to bring you more news of that very soon... this album has been a long process, but the proof is in the pudding!

The albumis still in post production and should be ready soon, but then I've been saying that for about 18 months, ah well! these things cannot be rushed you know?!

The start of another busy year. Finsihing some new tracks which will be uploaded here very shortly. After many months, I have now returned to the studio to finish waht must be the longest ever recording session in history! I started recording the album mid-way through 2007 with the view of releasing it after a few months, Nadda CHANCE! In 2008, I was determined to finish and release the album, NADDA! so it's now 2009, and I have been very lazy in the sunshine, but the album is almost complete and will be ready for release at some point in 2009, yee-hoo!

Take every opportunity you are given and enjoy every single moment of every single day. I recently learned of the tragic loss of one of the most amazing, beautiful people I have ever met. His life ended far too soon, but here was a guy who took every wonderful moment of life and enjoyed it to the maximum. To the eternal smiling sunshine boy, here's looking at you kid. Ok, so it's been a while since any news appeared, so what's been a happening??? Jon has been very busy writing new tracks. We can now confirm that the track 'I Didn't Know' will be released as a single. It will be available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Sony and all usual MP3 download sites. Release date is yet to be confirmed, but will be posted here as soon as we have the info...

There are rumours about Jon recording a track with Stock/Aitken/Waterman... Jon HAS started work on a uber cool cover of the Nik Kershaw track ''I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me'', but as yet we are unable to confirm who the producers are! this is all being kept very tightly under wraps at the moment!

A far cry from the original, the track was sent to boot camp and given a make-over resulting in an eletro-storm of a track.

Jon has recorded a rather festive version of 'Winter Wonderland' which will be available for streaming on here from 14th December, woo! Grab your best woolly pully, wrap up warm and have a glass of baileys by the fire.

Disco Headz Records is proud to announce the re-release of the Jon Adam Freeman track 'Across The Dance Floor're-mixed and re-vibed!

2 years after the original recording, Jon has re-recorded the song and it has been brought kicking and screaming up to date.The new version, 'Across The Dance Floor - remixed 2008' will be available worldwide via iTunes from 21st January 2008
So crank up the volume and whack up the bass!

A brand new re-record and re-mix of 'across the dance floor' has been completed and will be available to listen too on the website in the next few days. There are plans to re-release this new version early in 2008. The new version is more edgey and been brought up to date and will feature on the forthcoming album.

Another album track 'I Didn't Know' is currently playing on the home page and can also be heard via the MySpace page.

There are now several tracks for you to listen to on the homepage, the newest being a cover of the 90's dance floor classic 'Saturday Night' Jon's new take on this infectious anthem has proved a to be a European club hit. There are no plans as yet to release this as a single,or include it on the forthcoming album. More work is being done to complete the album, which is proving to be a lot of hard work! You can now become a Jon-o-fan (!) well, we thought it was funny! simply go to the Fan Sign Up tab and follow the instructions.

News Update! Robert De Niro's Waiting has hit the Number 1 spot in the Top Rated section on internet radio site ishouldbesolucky.com!

One giant step forward in September sees the forthcoming release of Jon's stomping dance floor cover version of the 1984 Bananarama track 'Robert De Niro's Waiting' Produced and mixed by Joopiter this track marks a turning point for Jon with this uber-retro sound. The track is released on 17th September and available from the Mike Stock website www.ishouldbesolucky.com, simply follow the link on the downloads page!

The single 'T1ME' has done extremely well! and we are now on the rollercoaster ride to album completion. The album will be released in February. Before that a stomping dance cover version of a 1980's classic track will be released around September followed by a double A-side release in December... Stay tuned for further info!

Thank you to all those who came to the 'Sunday Night Live' show at Her Majesty's Theatre. What a night! Many thanks for all your messages and good wishes. Now its back to finishing the album which I can now reveal will be released on 24th September. The album is full of electro-dance tracks with a few surprises... you will have to wait until the 24th September for the unveiling! The next few months are going to be ridiculously busy on this never ending roller coaster ride, but jump aboard and ride with me, it proves to be one hell of a time.
